Bill Burke - Founding Partner
Bill is an independent consultant with over twenty years of experience consulting to a wide variety of national associations, companies and industries. His experience is a unique combination of C-level management, experience, consulting and executive coaching. His focus is on helping individuals and organizations clarify business growth goals and translate them into actionable strategies that lead to improved financial results and advance their missions.
As the founder and senior partner of Rising Tide, a consulting and coaching firm, Bill works with C-level executives and their teams. Engagements vary from short term engagements to yearlong change management projects. A common thread throughout the assignments is increased revenue and/or profit for the organizations served.
Prior to launching Rising Tide, Bill was President of the media company, South East Publishing Ventures, Inc. with responsibility for all areas of the business including finance, production and sales. Earlier is his career Bill worked for a variety of media companies in sales and sales management where he learned the importance of setting ambitious goals and implementing the plans to accomplish them.
Bill began his career as a counselor and administrator at Liberation Programs, a drug and alcohol treatment program in Stamford, CT. After five years at LPI, Bill started his own company, an Employee Assistance consulting service. He designed, launched and managed programs that were successful in their own right and served as models for other organizations.

Rita Burke - Partner
Rita is an experienced consultant, facilitator and coach who has helped diverse organizations achieve measurable performance improvements and increase revenue. She is recognized both for her direct experience in leading teams and selling media programs, applications and platforms, as well as for her facilitation and training skills.
For over fifteen years, Rita held a number of senior level positions at Ziff-Davis Media. As a sales leader she was responsible for talent development to drive new advertising revenue. During her tenure with the company Rita gained global experience as the Director of International Sales & Marketing where she led the US team and designed and delivered training for teams in Europe, Mexico and China. As EVP Corporate Sales she spearheaded a 360° sales process company-wide to sell customized, integrated ad and sponsorship programs to major accounts.

As a Strategic VP for a large global talent leader, she consulted with clients to implement career transition strategies. Francie trained and mentored a team of "Early in Career" high potential employees. The team successfully customized a complex global pilot which was ultimately used as a model for other organizations.
Francie's early professional experience included teaching and recruiting which provided a foundation and skill set for career coaching. She received a Masters in Counseling Psychology which informs the theoretical framework she applies to coaching and consulting.
